My residence expert who lurked on boards for about three years tells me of a Smoke and Mirrors story by an Aspiring Author. that was his name. I doubt that the administrator of this board had any idea that this story ever existed. It was told on the Smoke Signals Story and Sightings Board. It involed a Late Bloomer although we had nothing to do with it. Ron read it and at times commented in his Oldie replies. He relates the story to a girl at college who has taken up smoking. A roommate makes lighter clicking noises during a telephne conversation which alerts her mother. the parents are rather strict. The mom and dad talk it over and the dad buys mom cigarettes. She becomes a regular smoker and mother and daughter join each other at Thanksgiving. Ron suspects that another woman in the story could be a factor. he says there is the female clerk involved in selling the mom and dad cigarettes and a 30ish single female neighbor who helps the mom develop her smoking.
This is all to say that I'm sure we would like Aspiring Author to comment here or even finish his story. Would anyone want a companion board for stories? Would the administrator have time for such?
