Subject: AGM

Refering to the forthcoming elections at the AGM.

As a newcomer to the sport, the workings are a bit of a mystery to me, to be perfectly frank I have very little idea of what go's on, what is possible and what is not.

I would find it very interesting and very usefull to know who is standing for what positions on the committee and indeed what positions their are and what they do.

I would also appreciate an idea from the candidates of what idea's they have and how they think things should be done, how and indeed why. (without anything personal)

I know that various idea's and addresses are made at the AGM but unfortunatly my mind does not work very quick and it is only afterwards I think of a relevant question.

So perhaps lets have an election address from the people standing for election, this forum, I think is as good a place as any as it will allow others interested in the sport and any potentional new members to see who say's what and why and also what the club is about.

One things for sure the people standing are willing to give up a large part of their life to run the club, and whoever is voted into what position deserves our 100% support whether we agree with all they say or not.

One other thing I have noticed that quite a few of the postings on this forum are done in the early hours of the morning.
