As chairman of Round Table, and a councillor for my sins, with both hats, I'd like to welcome you to our town. I'm sure that once you've experienced us once, you'll want to return again and again!
Practical matters, should there be anything you think I, or one of my colleagues could do to help your event in any way, please don't hesitate to call me on 07970 636331, I have something of a reputation as a "fixer"! (Having said that, don't ask me to look at a 200hp mercury, as I can't even get my 25 running right!)
PS, Begged Sky sports to cover the event, and been in contact with Carlton, but I'm told there are no plans? ...yet I'm assured by local folk that they've been told that TV is on its way? Anyone shed any light on that?
PS, if any of you are reading this tonight (Friday) there's a live band on the balcony of the Collingwood Hotel, on the sea front, and I'm sure that between them, and Mike at the Yacht Club will happily get you in the party spirit!
