Thanks for your comments, it was a pleasure to help "host" the event. My personal thoughts go out for "X55" whilst they work out how to pay for a new gearbox and steering gear I understand. Very entertaining display of Hydroplaning, not quite so entertaining for "A**"? I imagine. (How's the fibreglass holding up chaps?) Another moment of sorrow goes out to "X68", who spent hard cash on 3 jerrycans of petrol in the back of my 4x4, and then barely used one! Never mind guys, a whiff of trouble in the middle east, and you can look on the other 10 gallons as an investment rather than a waste! Other highlights in my mind were the crew of "A30" searching the gift shops for snorkelling equipment, and on a local note, Tony Reeves of IYC desperately seeking an explanation of why he hadn't seen his wife for 48 hours.
Well done everyone for an entertaining weekend. Keep my email address for next year, I/We promise we'll get "up to speed" with more planning time available.
Paul
