You have to be kidding! Buffy is meant to be reflective of real life experiences -- you'll alaways have a place in your heart for your first love, but one must move on. A "perfect" wnding for Buffy and Angel, even if only suggested, would be wwwwwaaayyy too fluffy and I'm be dissapointed in Joss if he didn't keep to the characters. Angel has a son now and he dreams about Cordelia. The basis of Buffy's behavior is that the men in her life keep leaving her - her dad, Angel, Reily, that one night stand, Giles. . . . Spike is the only one who never left her. Even when he wasn't there physically, he was with her mentally. The basis of Spike is that he is love's bitch. I'd be completly dissappointed in Joss if he, after seven seasons, left these characters in the same place that they started. The entire show from beginning to end would be pointless. I'm not even asking for a fairytale ending for Buffy and Spike -- just something that gives them each a chance to move on. Some of the spoilers floating around make no sense to the storyline. If it does end the way some have been posting, then the whole season 7 was a crock -- pointless if it leads up to what they say it will. I just hope that when the dust clears, I'll my love and respect for the genious of Joss will keep intact.
