Simply elementary

Hold or dispatch
Fasten or untie
Release or attach

Designed to save or erase
Run hot and cold
Fall or be lifted
To let go or to hold

Designed for high and low
Being here or there
Of mind and heart

Agree or disagree
Who enters in here
