Hi folks! I found Jim on one of the other poetry forums last night and he directed me here - here is my latest poem that I'm working with - your comments will be appreciated.

Silent Snow - 2002

Cats eyes
rubber hose
plants on window sills

The world behind my eyes sings its joy

Sometimes whole forest regions
roll beneath my wings.

An open door pops up - I honour
the invitation, walk into a white
world. I find myself in a place
that's been calling to me
for some time now.

Silent wings
Silent footsteps
Silence in fresh fallen snow
