Each day I am turning
With fondest affection
The pages in my mind
This loving collection

Here lifes open book
Adding the treasures
Joy and expectations
Among the pleasures

Of all my yesterdays
Gathered in memory
My book being open
With still more to see

The mind is in motion
The thoughts I persue
Reading through past
Prepared for the new

Never a closed mind
Accessible and free
Reach past the cover
Turn the pages of me
