Karen; This is certainly an interesting poem. It causes one to wonder if there were a child that you have lost touch with since he was an infant. There is a sadness to this poem, which is also very well written. Wanda
>LOVE PARENT, LOVE CHILD MIRROR POEM
>
>A little baby boy,
>I remember his smile, his laugh, his cry.
>He is not my son though I could
>Of swore he breathed with me, ate with me,
>Sang with me, too.
>Little child, if you are there,
>Who are you?
>What is your name?
>Do you know me as I know you?
>Talk to me.
>Tell me, do you
>Belong with me?
>I know I can’t be who you need me to be.
>But I just can’t help it, for I love you so.
