Keys Thrown Away

Into this quiet corner
Its my solitary zone
No one will see me
A heartbreaks alone

The state of oblivion
Enables me to hide
In wearing pretense
Heartbreaks reside

The sadness I abide
Aches are caged in
Emotions confined
Heartbreaks within

My heart tearful lair
The despair is kept
Keys thrown away
Heartbreaks I wept

Left in this situation
I keep blaming me
In tears of lonliness
Heartbreaks reality
