My body has betrayed me
My mind is not my own
I look around, to view my world
And see myself alone

I know not why this came to be
Nor how this came to pass
Like grains of sand the years I count
Like breezes through the grass

My pain I bare in silence
My anguish no one knows
I keep it all inside me
In a void where noone goes

Carefully chosen masks I wear
When the sun doth grace the sky
In darkness though, my walls come down
To the night I cannot lie

As the Lady rides her paths of light
Through skys the darkest hue
In the deep hours after darkness
I give my grief its� due
