Sounds of shadows scraping across my thoughts
Echoes of battles that I never should have fought
As I look down the mirrors of my morose life
I see all of the pain that causes that inner strife

All the lost things that elude my minds eye
All the times I looked at life and had to lie
For all the people who have hurt me
And all the times you all refused to see

That I�m crawling towards salvation of the light
The thought of hope still alive just out of sight
I think I should cry once for my father
As the cancer in him kills my mother

I can�t stand on my own in the maelstrom of my mind
I�ll keep crawling the love I�m missing I know I�ll find
Now I�m lost in the darkness left alone and I�m screaming
But I you wont win I�m too stubborn so I�ll keep crawling
