A golden wing i once placed in my hand

to scribe my thoughts into words

the very footprints in my memory followed an eventide

one vast ripple at a time

They gently sailed abroad from sea too sea

drifting along with careless ease

and once around the sea's so deep

i heard above the great blue below

a certain sweetness as it flows

fore the sandy sea beneath

brought gentle ripples to my feet

in tones my heart leaned the more

to my ear the sea did roar.

i heard and saw a thousand dreams

beyond the breeze of the rising sea

a silent sorrow a bitter sigh

lost love, a weepy eye .

They all did drift along a serving wave.

Their restless wings no longer slave.

Ones footprint's now my memories

in my heart
i shall keep

( Anna Maria is a beautiful Island
off the Gulf Of Mexico a place of peace for me)
