A burning boat upon the sea
A warrior lost twas what I be
For now my life has left the shore
My heart beats here no longer more
Don't cry for me for I have loved
I 've looked, blue skies above
Now all I want, to sleep evermore
Hold me fast,deep within loves door
Believe I was and will always be
A true man of the sea

Born a child become a man
I tried to live the best I can
Happy times and sometimes sad
Believe me life has not been bad
I learned of love and all of its woe
Yet she still says she loves me so
Do not be sad,for I am at rest
I am at peace and I am blest.
Now its time for me to go
So burn the boat and let me so
Winds and sea, companions be
Just take me home
