I look down upon his brow
And I cry and wonder how
This man I love could die
Why I watched his last sigh

He listened all my life to me
And all my life he could see
The deeply hidden me inside
He loved me never let me hide

I watch his body now dead
I kiss the bald top of his head
I say goodbye to my father
I say goodbye to my grandfather

A rather unfortunate thing happened. My grandfather passed away. He was for me like a real father, and I just felt like writing a poem about him. I'm not sad though because he helped me even in death. Because he's helped me write again. I haven't been writing recently due to family problems and his failing health. Anyway I just wanted to kinda get that off my chest. I'm thankful to all who have helped me here. Thanks
