At school I’m know for unpleasant things, and I
Often get a stare
I’d rather like them all to note that I really
Couldn’t care
For I have my friends and have my life and
Those people all have theirs
A girl should not be judged on how she looks
Or what she wears
If a person is “too brainy”” they are said
To be a geek
And the “non-geeks” never pass the tests so they
Really shouldn’t speak
If someone happens to be wearing red, instead
Of blue or green
The “populars” all turn away, because with red
They can’t be seen
About the girl who never drinks, is the
One they always joke
And no one thinks they can be seen with her
Because she doesn’t smoke
No one ever asks those poor souls how they
Really feel
And no one seems to care that these children
Are also real
Doesn’t anyone notice that the one who becomes
Special in the end
Is the person whos spent their entire life
Seeking for a friend
I found that in the long run no “cool” person
Really cares
But a girl should not be judged by how she
Looks or what she wears
