Death and destruction came from the sky,
the whole world watched, and asked why?
Horrific attacks on American soil,
tempers around the world in a boil.

How could they think that they will win,
not acts of religion, pure acts of sin.
No God would promote loss of innocent lives,
moms and dads, husbands and wives.

So many will be carried out in a body bag,
yet America and I still salute our flag.
They'll never succeed in destroying our land,
as long as we hold on to our God's hand......
