I can't give you an exact definition of one now. It was in 1994 when I took the creative writing class.
Here is my grook I wrote then, after that, I will try to remember some of the definitions.
Is it cruel to be cruel
when to be kind is to be cruel,
or is it cruel to be kind?
Is it cool be be cruel
when you're cruel in a rule
or, is it cruel reading these lines?

Grook=six lines
1st and 4th lines internal rhyme
and rhyme with last of 2nd and 5th lines.
3rd and 6th lines ryhme.
I do remember that a grook is a poem that doesn't make sense, it is sort of a humorous poem. If you have a literary dictionary, or are in creative writing, could you look it up for me??
I had to write cinquains, grooks, tankas, free verse and some other type of poem where the title is really long, and the actual poem is only two words that rhyme.
I just stick to ABAB personally LOL!
