I felt this same way!!! It inspired my poem "Beast of Bethelehem"

We started out the same, almost. Mine was "Too young to love, too old to hate..."

Hopefully, things will work out with you as they did with me. I was 19 when I wrote mine, and a whole great deal has happened since then.
