Unity
A word, a phrase, a thought,
All written nice and neat
The shedding of tears in pain
The sound of ones heartbeat
Mourning innocence lost
The lives were taken short
The hopes and dreams of families
That cruelty did abort
A nation mourns in righteous tears
In anger we all shout
Then in stunned questioning
We ask what it's all about
I shed my tears as others did
I shook my fist in wrath
And now I sit in silent muse
Wondering what's the right path
Brothers, sisters, join hands
Meet in unity now
For united we stand forever
Alone we can only bow...
