The forest stands silent
Listening to the trees
And whispers of the wind
Rustling through the leaves

The lake waits patient
Listening to the beach
And the fingers of waves
Slapping as they reach

The mountain stands alone
Listening to the sky
And the call of clouds
Floating slowly by

The valley sits quiet
Listening to the stream
And the rush of water
Flowing from it�s head

Silent is the forest
Though full of sound
Where winds do whisper
Secrets never found

Patient is the lake
Though filled to the edge
Where waves crest forever
Upon the broken ledge

Alone is the mountain
Though surrounded by the sky
Where clouds are majestic
Rolling ever by

Quiet is the valley
Though filled by the wind
Where stream does flow
Adding to the din
