The Titans need to finish the season 5-1 (thus, beating a 1 or 2 seed in the conference semi-finals and making the finals) and improve their RPI into the top 95 to get a sniff from NIT. I really don't think the NIT is going to use any of the "exceptions" I mentioned in an earlier post to skip over other teams with better RPIs and reach up RPI ladder to invite the Titans. If the Titans are going to get an NIT invitation, they are going to have to get it "the old-fashion way" - they are going to have to earn it......
