But they do have loyal student support which carries over to alum support.

UD's prob lies in a long established tradition of letting students in for FREE!!! Thus while we may view this as a wonderful perk, I believe it cheapens the program in the minds of students. Ulitimately, with fewer students attending games there is less tradition carried forward into life as alums. Even if students were charged $20 for a pass good to any home game they would see it a more valuable than a freebie and in the long run work to resolve the overall attendance issue.

Course Wings, car shows pistons etc contribute for sports dollar they alone are not the prime reason for dismal attendence.
