">On this eve of the Horizon League Championship game,
>we are left with two favored, yet highly undeserving,
>teams vying for their ticket to the big dance."

Undeserving, you're absolutely right, the first and second place teams don't deserve to face off in the championship game! (heavy sarcasm)

Blah Blah Blah (cutting out some fat)

"Detroit went
>to the line only once the entire game, whereas Butler
>took 19 shots, making 15 and winning by 3. Where is
>the justice?"

Hey, I was there and didn't see a horribly officated game. If PW and Detroit want more calls, they should start by taking the ball to the hole more often. Willie was one of the only ones, and even then it wasn't until the end of the game. Give credit where it's due to the Butler defenders.

"We also see another blatant corrupt game
>that same night, with UIC taking on Milwaukee. After
>taking the lead, UIC is called for a highly
>questionable technical late in the game, setting up a
>two point Milwaukee win."

Questionable technical? Obviously something was said and it was just plain stupid on Martell Bailey's part. Look at the box scores from this season and you'll see that technicals aren't called often. On the college level, you have to really say or do something back to get a "T".

"The referees even left the
>court before the game was officially over, as the fans
>rushed the floor."

You're not telling the truth. What happened was the ball was blocked, none of the officials blew their whistles, and the clock ran out. Was there time left on the clock? Probably, but, unfortunately, the game wasn't televised and couldn't be reviewed. The officials all looked at each other, waved there arms indicating the game was over and got the heck out of dodge. As for the fans rushing the floor...what are you talking about!? The fans didn't rush the court! Maybe some media members did, but none of the students or casual fans did. IF UWM wins tonight, fans will rush the floor. I'm sure Butler fans in attendance will rush the floor if the Bulldogs win.

"He was seen
>angered at Detroit’s victory over Loyola in the
>quarterfinals, while joyous at Butler’s win the next
>round. With Detroit leading at the half of said
>semifinal game, LeCrone made a little visit to his
>referees during half-time, probably forcing them to
>call the game for Butler."

Really, what evidence do you have of any of this? I don't know him, don't really have much to say good or bad.

"Either way, Detroit would be able to get
>away from LeCrone and his evil, game-fixing ways."

10 guys on the court decide the outcome of a game. Period.
