>* one of the teams will be NIT eligible

First, when I have followed the NIT selections in past years I have compare the selections to the RPI from www.collegerpi.com (the same stats used by ESPN). Although, the NIT selections did not run in complete order with the RPI from www.collegerpi.com, the selections were close.

Second, it is my understanding that teams with a overall record (including wins against non-D1 schools) of .500 or better are eligible for the NIT. That means, that the only teams from your list that can finish BELOW .500 are South Carolina, Florida St., Charlotte, Arkansas, West Virgina, and Temple.

Virgina is listed as 14-14 on the RPI against D1 schools, however they have a non-D1 win and thus have an overall record of 15-14 and even if they were to lose in the first round of the ACC tourney against Duke they'll finish 15-15 and get an NIT bid.

South Carolina would have to win at least 4 games to finish .500

Florida State would have to win at least 2 games to finish .500

Arkansas (9-18) is out of the post season except for an auto NCAA bid.

Temple would have to win at least 2 games to finish .500

West Virgina needs to win at least 1 game to finish .500
