Sam didn’t miss the slight joke, smirking in turn at him. ”Guess we’ll have to see if I’m a keeper then.” Tease offered before he went on to explain why they’d gone to beef instead of goats, head nodding in response giving a low whistle at the price. ”That’s some pretty nice deal you got there.” She recalled the beef industry had taken a dive in the past years, but she had never heard of cattle going that low around her old parts.
”Glad to hear he works magic, think my ol’ gal might need it. Radiator is shot but I haven’t had the cash to fix it.” Or the time to wait for it to be fixed for that matter, she’d always been fleeing from town to town ahead of the mobs of hunters. At his mention of taking her help she lifted her bottle as if to toast the idea before tipping it back and finishing half of it in a few swigs. She doubted she’d get another, though all this talk of cattle was making her hungry. She only hoped come the full moon tomorrow she’d be able to get away from any farmers flocks of sheep…the feline side of her had been craving lamb chops for awhile now and she didn’t know if she’d be able to resist the temptation if it was presented her.
”Well I best get you home, before your sis sends out a search party.” Tease given as she finished the second half of the drink and moved to stand, eying the pup under their table as she did so, he was a cute little whelp. ”Thanks for the drinks,” gratitude shown as she stretched, uncaring that the buckskin jacket hitched up with her shirt, revealing flat and toned abs along with a near honey glazed flash of skin.
