Alicia hadn’t meant to let her confusion about Tarot’s fear show, but it was obvious from the slight wince that it’d been noted. She’d have apologized but that’d only draw out the problem longer so she simply kept quiet while the red haired hybrid worked over a piece of ice. Her second drink nearly finished Alicia decided a third would be it for her. Last thing she needed was wrecking the rental car she’d gotten while Zeth was out of town and while she’d be far from buzzed on the third she’d also be slower in response, but that’s if she even got the third drink.
As Tarot tried to explain her worries over the species, vampires, and her experiences Alicia nodded. She’d recalled hearing about the fall out from a past relationship, though she hadn’t realized it was that bad. Given she’d come close to a few meals on wheels experiences she’d rather forget, though such things had easily ended once Zeth and her and started dated and most defiantly after she’d married him. Didn’t mean she was free of drama or trouble, just that she had less worry from vampires than other species…usually. Though there was also that overly tricky fact that she was immortal now, and while she’d never want to test the theory she wasn’t sure a vampire could kill her by draining her dry…though if anything could that might be the flaw to the curse, who knew? She sure as hell didn’t!
”I didn’t realize it was that bad.” Meaning the near death experience at her boyfriend’s um fangs, but the crunch of ice was heard before Tarot added more and Alicia once more felt compelled to reply. ”Zeth has his moments, they all do, and I only know of Dimitri in name, never meet him.” And she wasn’t really planning a visit anytime soon. Most vampires she’d meet were smooth talkers and there was only one vampire she wanted to hear such things from, and he was currently somewhere out of town with a bunch of pretty places and with even prettier ladies. The last of her second drink disappeared on that note before she commented on Tarot’s mournful proclamation. ”I’d like to say over my dead body, but maybe I should ask why you think this. As in why now? I mean your father off’d your boyfriend awhile ago, and I’m sure there are possess out there for you, but what makes you think one is close.” A narrowed glance given her drinking companion that slumped on her throne surrounded by her moat of spilled alcohol. ”Unless you did something more, recently.” It was possible and she wouldn’t blame the other if that was the case. Just better safe than sorry you know.

(They had kids together [Bri/Zeth] never married though. Le gasp bastard childer and all! Alicia was pregnant with twins, then Bri kinda stole one and such. It’s long complicated and I honestly don’t recall it all anymore myself. For writing on an ipad you did well. I just got home [@2am] from the airport from my trip and had to go to Spanish class right after blah!)
