He was doing a number on her resolve and Alicia couldn't help but curse the gods for their mockery of her senses. His very touch - scent - look - drove her to the brink. She knew it was not just her that was affected by his aura but it was her alone that he came home to and that thought always caused the butterflies to spring to life. She didn't have time to calm them as with skilled and practiced talent her husband captured her in a tantalizing kiss.

She'd have loved to stay just as they were - locked and lost in one another - but reality called and soon she felt herself crash back to the club and pulsing music that suddenly felt too confining. His hand on her thigh her own doing it's best to sneak a button loose from his dress shirt.

"I thought you'd never ask." Words velvety like silk as she willed herself to let go of his shirt and down the rest of her water as if it was liquid cougar before pushing him lightly but soundly enough to exit the booth. He did not need to ask her twice this time around.
