The door to the club was swung open, and she rushed inside, laughing so hard her belly hurt. Water streamed from her long dark hair, and her makeup was smudged around her eyes, but she didn't care. Her clothes stuck to her like a second skin, clinging to her curves as water dripped to the floor. Slowly, she started to regain her compusure, though little bursts of laughter would bubble up from her throat and set her into a fit all over again. The rain had been cold, sure...but she'd never felt so refreshed and alive in her whole life. Settling some, she wiped the water from her eyes, and cast her gaze about the room. She realized she must look insane to anyone else, coming in from the storm laughing like a loon. And so what if she did? They certainly didn't know what they were missing out there.
Hazel eyes lock onto the bartender. Maybe he could spare a bar rag or two, so she could mop herself off a bit. A cup of coffee wouldn't be half bad either. She approached, leaning over the counter to get his attention. "You wouldn't have a towel or two, would you? I kind of picked the wrong day for a stroll." She motioned to her wet clothes. In truth, she had been walking. But when the rain had started, she'd not hurried to find shelter. Instead, she'd run, and she'd danced...loving the feel of it's icey spray aagainst her skin. Maybe she was a loon, after all.
She looked at the bartender again, this time taking time to appreciate the size of his arms and the way his shirt hugged what must be a very muscled torso. Oh, he was just delish. She grinned at him, peering out from under thick, dark lashes. "And maybe some coffee, too?" She asked.
