As she mentioned going in, his gaze turned toward the club. He didn't know what or who they would find behiund those doors, and didn't know the outcome they'd face of the visit. The unknowms were almost overwhelming, and he doubted he'd have been strong enough to face them on his own quiet yet. He was grateful for her....now, and always.

It seemed spring was in the air after, he noted as he watched a couple who seemed to have been just kissing, from the looks of things. He couldn't wait to be able to kiss Laurie in that very same fashion...and explore every familiar curve and dip of her body.The anticipation would only make it greater, he knew. And they had so much ahead of them yet.

"Here goes nothing." He said, giving her a wink as he opened the door of the Audi, the spring night air crisp and cool against his face. The club seemed like a beacon there in the misty darkness, and he was struck at just how right everything felt. Like all of the pieces were falling back into place, just as they'd always meant to be. He reached for Laurie's hand, took it, and moved towards the club.
