Nancy settled into the stool beside him, glad she'd left her purse with her bag at the top of the stairs, the bar was not a good spot to have a purse. It would either get spilled on, stepped on or snatched off the back of your stool. She'd learned that the hard way once. She glanced at him as he lit up yet another cigarette, wondering for a moment if he smoked this much all the time now. Well it really didn't matter. He wasn't her husband any longer, not really. She leaned an elbow on the edge of the bar at his question "Whiskey for now" She'd want a Guinness stout later, but she wanted to get well on her way to hammered first... She needed the separation from what was going on, that fuzzy cushion to soften the blow that he'd given her. Who would have thought that seeing him again would be so... unsettling

Her gaze slid over the club again, aware that she was screwed as soon as Angelina came down. The other woman would give her hell for doing this, and she knew that if it wasn't for that fact, she'd be running the risk of a complete relapse. One slip in seven years wasn't bad, she just had to make sure it was just the one... If Memphis stuck around, she wasn't sure that would happen
