Enjoying his touch and craving it as a means to calm her nerves, though Angelina thankfully chose not to mention anything about the trip saving Laurie Ann from explaining it in front of him or anyone else for a while longer. She still wasn’t sure if any of them would believe her when she said she’d been a model. The schoolteacher part was believable; she’d always loved art, but to model for it? That didn’t seem very fitting for her…and truthfully still made her uncomfortable at times. ”I love you too.” Words actually whispered as she was outspoken by Shania’s drunken rant at Memphis. Lithe frame tensing as she waited for blows to come yet again, though this time Angelina intervened, casting down the law and demanding obedience or expulsion and probably the more sobering of all the threats, the lack of alcohol. ”I’ll have another tonic Stan, please.” Comment given to the silent man as he worked on cleaning up his own glass it seemed. ”I hope it doesn’t rain anymore, the Audi already needs a wash.” Taking Angelina’s topic and running with it, anything to keep the peace and hopefully relieve the tensions they were all feeling.
