I sensed the approach of someone from behind me moments before Craig's scent overwhelmed me. I inhaled deeply, closing my eyes, just as he leaned in, hands sliding across my body in a familiar carress, his lips and breath warm against my ear. My heart flickered, breifly, sped in pleasure before settling back into its regular rhythm. I turned my head towards Craig, subtledly protecting my neck from a potential bite. I doubted Craig would try to harm me, but caution was the best tactic these days. "Looks like you already have." My tone was short, clipped almost, but as i turned slightly to look over my shoulder at him, a flicker of approval shone in my eyes. I was pleased to see him, whether i let it show completely or not. I swiveled around so that my back was to the counter, and my hip was framed against his thigh. He seemed so much taller than me at this angle, but it didn't intimidate me, just forced me to tilt my head to look at him fully.
