Jess had just finished her shift at the local coffee house, and was swinging by to pick Antonie up from her brother. His boss didn't like him keeping the puppy behind the bar past six, not with how busy the club could get in the evenings. So she had agreed to come get the pup once she was finished at work, plus it meant she had half an hour to loiter in the club before heading back to the motel.

She had been waiting for her brother to finish talking with the woman he was chatting up, so she could get something to drink before she had to take the puppy, but he look like he'd be through talking with her any time soon. So she turned her attention to the clubs patrons, checking cups until she found an empty one. Bingo! She tossed a bottle cap at her brother, the bartender, hitting him in the shoulder. "James, give me a Heineken and whatever that guys having. I'm gonna go bother him since your ignoring me"

Smirking, she took the drinks from her brother a moment later and headed towards the dark haired young man. She set the fresh glass in front of him and slid into the booth across the table. He hip touched his raised feet, but she didn't particularly care, casual contact wasn't one of her issues. "Trade ya your drink for putting up with me for a bit. " She smiled brightly at him, doubting he would turn her away even if she looked tired and run down. Humans where like that, always seeking company even if it wasn't what they wanted. She really had no reason to think this man was anything but human. I mean, how many creatures could one town hide? Besides her and James, of course.
