Namaste! Thank You For Re-Seeding The World!

Since 1999, City Repair, Portland's coterie of citizen activists educating and inspiring people to build a more community-oriented and ecologically sustainable society through projects that honor the interconnection of human communities and the natural world, has hosted an annual project known as Earth Day; observed annually in honor of our national Earth Day and planned, designed, organized, built and run entirely by volunteers on a small budget.

As City Repair and its Earth Day celebration continues to grow steadily entering its second decade in existence, we are proud to announce the formation of this inaugural Meetup group, which will share this framework for running a large, non-corporate, ecologically sustainable community and educating like-minded volunteers, activists and stewards alike how we all can positively contribute to creating the world we want.........each day of the year, one day at a time.

The American Native ecologist, teacher and visionary Brooke Medicine Eagle has said: "There is hope if people will begin to awaken that spiritual part of themselves, that heartfelt knowledge that we are caretakers of this planet." Be part of this sea change with us, and keep checking this page periodically for new events and gatherings that promise to not only awaken this heartfelt knowledge, but blow and scatter them from our healing palms upon the fecund fields and pristine prairies like dandelion seeds.
