Alli walked out of the shower, wrapped in a terry towel, and rummaged through her closet looking for the perfect outfit. She chose a pair of glittery denim capris and a cap sleeve shirt that said 'Princess'. She walked down to the kitchen and sat down at the table next to her dad. "Hey Dad, do you want to drive me over to the FC public pool today?" Alli asked hopefully. Mike nodded groggily (his coffee was still brewing) and yawned. Alli laughed and headed upstairs to put on her bathing suit. Her bikini was a very flattering shade of light purple with dark purple swirls. She put on a fuscia wrap skirt and platform clogs. She let her shoulder length hair down and surveyed herself in the mirrror. She looked nice. Then she walked over to her bed side table and picked up her cordless phone. She dialed Jess' well known number and heard the girl pick up the phone. "Hello? Is this Alli?" Jess asked. "Yeah, it's me. I was wondering if you guys could go to the pool. Ya know, you and Suzie." Alli asked. Jess set down the phone and yelled the question to her mom. "Yeah, we can come!" Jess said. "Great! C'mon over when you finish getting ready." Alli said, hanging up. Jon walked into her bedroom, without knocking, and said, "Dad wants you to know that when he drops us off, he's not staying." Jon said. He was wearing navy blue swim trunks and matching flip flops. The two ran downstairs and Mike grinned. "Are we waiting for Jess and Suzie?" he asked. "Yes!" Alli grinned. Soon, the door burst open and Jess ran in, followed by Suzie. Jess was wearing a light blue bathing suit with dark blue swirls, just like Alli's, just blue. Suzie was wearing an orange tankini with stars on it. They both had on color cordinated wrap skirts and flip flops. Mike waved his arm and they all headed out to the SUV. They drove to the pool, and waved to Mike as he dropped them off. At the pool, they saw tons of their friends immediately.
