 Alli grinned excitedly and chatted with everyone as they walked into the dance club. Mikki took her hand and said to Jess, “Jess, I’ll dance with you next.” He and Alli swept onto the floor as Pink’s song ‘Hazard to Myself’ began. Jess walked over and got a drink. She scanned the room and saw Suzie and Jon dancing. Laura and Jacob were chatting. “Do you want to dance?” he asked her. “Sure!” she said and they went out onto the floor. As they danced, the music changed to a slow song. They slowed down and Laura put her hands on Jacob’s shoulders. He leaned down and their lips brushed gently. They smiled at each other. Jess walked toward her sister, Suzie, who was chatting with Jasmine, one hand on Jon’s shoulder comfortably. Alli was talking with Mikki as they danced. “Do you want to go for a trail ride?” he asked. “Yeah. I’d love to.” She replied happily.
