 Julia and I were driving along after getting Free's hoof checked out (he had been limping, it was OK). When I saw it. I saw a very bad-looking crash about 1 mile away from Raquel's house. I stopped and saw nothing other than Raquel's son's car. I saw three body bags being lifted into the ambulance. Julia hopped out and ran over to the bent metal and broken glass screaming "Renee! Where are you?! Don't be gone!" I saw Susan pulling her back. I asked Mal what happened.
"There was a crash, with no surivors" she started to sob. I did, too. Julia came running up to me. I pulled her and Mal close and we sobbed together. I pulled back and went to get out Free. I led him out, just when a car came. It honked, making him shy. He jerked his head up and went thundering towards the crash.
"NO FREE!" he tried to stop, but slammed into the window, leaving an ugly gash on his chest!
