With regards to posters such as "Dick", unfortunately this is an unmoderated message board and I have no way of deleting comments once they are posted here (much as I wish I had the power to!). Thanks for your concern.

Yes, it's disappointing to see such a strong club as Randwick (and others - Kuring-gai, Campbelltown, Penrith, Waverley, Eastern Suburbs, etc) fade away to nothing. I guess, to some extent, that's the nature of women's sport but things appear to be changing slowly with the huge increase in the number of participants in grass-roots/school level cricket. Hopefully, this will signal a healthier and more stable grade competition in due course.
