The NSWIS Blues topped the National League with only 1 loss while Queensland Fire won only half their games to make the final. These wins did however include the Blues only loss - a 2 run defeat at Brisbane Grammar.

The best of 3 finals series starts on Australia Day at Memorial Oval, Bankstown. Coverage will also be provided by C7 (pay TV).

The Blues squad for the finals is:

Belinda Clark (c), Julie Hayes (vc), Bronwyn Calver, Leonie Coleman, Shannon Cunneen (debut), Michelle Goszko, Lisa Keightley, Emma Liddell, Therese McGregor, Sharon Millanta, Debbie Nelson, Amanda Owens and Lisa Sthalekar.
