Bure around Wroxham Broad is producing quite a few we had seven from 2lb to 15lb and missed two more which looked to be a 5lb and a 15 - 20lb last week. But the river traffic, although it's winding down is still heavy enough to seriously get on your nerves. You will however need a boat to fish it effectively. Several Places in Wroxham and Horning hire them out from about £15 for a tub to £28 for an aluminium battle cruiser. Try Fineway for the bigger boat. You could also try Trinity - which is a complex of non river fed broads around Filby, Rollesby area. Boats are cheap - about £8 a day, and you'll get plenty of exercise as the waters are huge, outbards aren't allowed except electrics (providing you have one). It also has the benefit of no cruisers at all. The waters have been a bit cloudy lately with a lot of algae; due presumably to the late summer sun, but there are fish if you can find them. Another option is the Yare, Hire a boat at Brundall or in Thorpe near Norwich and either fish the river or Rockland, good sport.

Good luck
