Depending on how you count, there were either two, three or four Texas XF eps.
The two that are unambigous are: "Space" (Houston, in season one) and "Bad Blood" (the fictional town of Chaney, supposedly located near Dallas, in season five).
Then there was "Vienen" in season eight. . .if you had to assign that ep a particular state to be set in, I suppose it would be Texas. They were actually on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico, but it seemed to be located near the Texas coast, as they were flying in on helicopters from Texas.
And, while it's not an "episode", per se, we can't ignore the fact that a good chunk of "The X-Files Movie: Fight the Future" was set in Texas!!
I wish there had been more Texas eps. This is the second-most populous state in America and only four visits in nine years doesn't really seem like a lot. They went to Washington State (which probably has a population about one-tenth of that of Texas) a lot more frequently than they came here!
