You just described my collecting habits--start to finish and in order. Good to know that I'm not the only person who does that sort of thing.

As for gameboy games I can't help much but if you are looking for other sorts of games, my kids loved Sim City for the computer. There are different Sim scenarios and they are pretty safe--at least the ones I have seen. The players have to build cities, plan them out, etc. As for board games, there are a lot of pretty good ones out there that are meant for kids. Yahtze is still a standard in our house and we are on our third Monopoly game.
