Subject: I also didn't care for this episode all that much
In reply to: kande 's message, "I don't think Scully was jealous." on 02:58:39 01/24/03 Fri

and Phoebe was one of the reasons. I hate it when women drag a guy along for their own personal amusement and then jump on over to another guy when they tire of the game or the next guy interests them more. I thought Phoebe was a rather "loose goose" and can't say that she impressed me at all as an FBI agent. I felt that Scully's behavior around Mulder (after seeing him with Phoebe) was respectful of Mulder's feelings. Scully almost seems like a mother at times by letting him make his mistakes but watching his back, protecting him and rescuing him time and time again. I wonder if he ever realizes this?

The main reason I didn't like this episode though was that the "fire guy" is so creepy. Arson is such an awful thing, I think, as it destroys so much--both property and life.
