I actually feel that I "know" most of you here at these boards pretty well by this point. I kind of doubt any of you have hung around these boards for the past four years in hopes that I'll reveal some sort of personal info so that you can stalk me.
I've had a chance to have some face-to-face meeting with a few of my internet buddies over the past couple of years and, while we've obseverved sensible precautions (i.e. met in a public place) nobody so far has turned out to be an ax murderer, sexual deviant or anything of that nature. Mostly they've been overweight, middle-aged women.
Of course, these *are* public forums and occasionally we do seem to get a "stranger" wandering through (see the posts by "george" and "Sylvia" over on the Shipperville board; who are those people and why are they posting their questions at an X-Files forum?) so I'm careful not to post really personal info.
Anyway, for those of you who don't know, I'm in my late 30s, married w/kids, Catholic, work part-time at a newspaper and live in Texas.
