Subject: A New Generation of XF Fans!

My 11 yr old has taken an interest in watching the XF. It started a few weeks ago when there was a rerun of the episode COPS on. I let him watch it and he LOVED it. So, we talked about it and I told him about the two types of eps, MOTW and conspiracy eps. While the MOTW - like COPS - can be watched with out any back ground, the conspiracy eps need to be studied from the start. So now, after my youngest son is tucked away in bed, my oldest son and I have been sitting with popcorn and season one. Last night we watched Ghost in the Machine, which he really liked. The idea of a building being totally run by a computer didn't seem to faze him a bit! He also really likes Deep Throat, and likes Mulders view. He thinks Scullys science is holding back the outcome. Direct Quote after watching New JErsey Devil - "Why didn't Scully believe him, after all the evidence he had......Scully wasn't much of a help"

Being a Scullyist I did have a long talk with him about the importance of proof.

I am looking forward to many nights watching. I don't think I have to start cencoring till season 5 or 6 really. Other than that, he sees worst on after school cartoons.
