Jacob and Esau were brothers. Esau was the eldest and entitled to inherit his father's estate. Jacob was his mother's favorite and she wanted him to inherit. HIs father was old and couldn't see well. Between Jacob and his mother, they fooled his father into giving him Esau's inheritance.

I hate the idea of Mulder having CSM as a father. I wonder if his daddy Mulder knew? Since both Mulder and Spender had matching DNA, I also have to ask how that happens because unless they were cloned (or Spender was cloned from Mulder)they won't have identical DNA. They obviously aren't identical twins. I can't help but think that there is a chance that CSM isn't their father.
