I don'tknow if any of you are familiar with The X-Men comics, but there is a character named Wolverine who's bones were laced with this metal "adamatium". It pretty much helps him regenerate if he gets injured and it shoots out of his knuckles so he has these unbreakable blades jutting out of his hands...This indestructable steel in Billy Miles reminds me of that, making me wonder if maybe it's just a take on the X-Men...maybe they improved the metal or something..who knows. Just a random connection.
