Ok, this episode better get rid of those fears some people had that John loved Dana and that he was a threat to the MSR. Ha. I'm a DRR shipper (dripper, whatever) but I wish that the series would continue with D&R and in this respect I'm a finishipper--D&R belong together but I wish they'd wait a couple years, not 7 though. But since this is the end of xf (waahh!:( I'll take what I can get. And hoo boy did we get alot!

A DreamKiss already! Yay! Even if you're not a DRR shipper, you gotta appreciate the sweetness of the episode. The way John's voice changed when he was pleading with Audrey. They way he looked at Monica at the end. I didn't feel any of this was faked or forced, it wasn't forcing romance to take the place of MSR, or M&S's long relationship before romance.

Did anyone think of Stephen King's Rose Red? The doll house and mentally impaired person with otherworldly connections? Loved it.

Addressing concerns that lately x-files haven't been "explained" enough( as in we don't know why the squeaky-wheeled Badlaa dude crawls up people's butts) this doesn't need an explaination. Just as Rose Red doesn't have a scientifically expainable or otherwise explainable reason for events, this is just one of those mysteries. Does it need a reason why Audrey was "I see nearly-dead people." ? Also, the episode's focus wasn't on who was murdering patients or why so many patients were dying. I'm sure there was a $$ motive for the doctor's actions, and it would please some viewers if we got confirmation of an investigation, but the episode wasn't about that, it was about Reyes' struggle to live and her experiences in an x-file, an in-between.

Spoilers had said we'd get a scene between John and Monica's dad. I wish we'd gotten that because I'd love to get more background and give the characters more depth, even though I think this ep did a wonderful job of making them deeper, more real people. I was reminded of Milagro when Audrey told John he loved Monica. It held the power of, "But she's already in love."

John was so worried about Monica, and when Audrey pointed out his feelings towards her, he wanted "to tell her." Then, at the end, he doesn't. They are having a deepening relationship like M&S had, but CC and FOX won't let it go on (damn them!) Movie critic Ebert said about the movie kiss that M&S care deeply for each other but that "it just wasn't the right time for them yet." Maybe it's just not the right time for D&R.

I wish Scully would've said, "I understand how you feel. I *know* how you feel. And although I may have believed that there were extreme, maybe paranormal, cures for my loved ones, I am on the other side, the medical side, now, and I'm giving you advice. Let her go, John."

Great acting among all, AG was good, RP was amazing.

One thing was goofy that occured in the beginning, then got dropped. The "Catholic" hospital that Reyes points out. Then we see the Crucifix on the wall and crosses on the building. Was that a slap on the church? I wasn't offended, I just found it slightly, odd, intriguing...
