I agree that we've seen way too many Scully tears. I think that it would have been interesting in Audrey Pauley if Scully had just gotten pissed off. I mean, really. This season alone the woman has been through too much. In the past few episodes even. I think that if I were Scully I would have just screamed and threw things at the unfairness of it all.

As far as her being so open with her feelings about Mulder this season, I think she's finally realized that she doesn't have all the time in the world and it's not worth it to hold everything in. I really can't wait until Mulder comes back so we can see a real, honest, true smile on Scully's face!
